No experience / No degreeWe are seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator to support a major energy construction project in the Edmonton area. This is a site-based role requiring strong field coordination experience on large, mega oil & gas / petrochemical / industrial projects.
Role Overview The Construction Coordinator will coordinate on-site construction activities, support contractor execution, and ensure work is delivered safely, in compliance with regulations, and aligned with schedule and budget objectives.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate daily on-site construction activities across multiple work fronts
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors
- Support construction sequencing and scheduling in alignment with the project plan
- Monitor progress, identify risks or constraints, and support mitigation actions
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulatory requirements, and site standards
- Track construction costs and support budget and change management activities
- Provide regular construction status updates and reports to project leadership
- Promote safe work practices and adherence to site safety requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred
- 10–20 years of experience in construction coordination or project management
- Experience on major Oil & Gas, Energy, Industrial, or Petrochemical projects
- Strong contractor coordination and field execution background
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, Primavera P6, and Adobe
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be local to the Edmonton / Fort Saskatchewan / Sherwood Park area
- Legally permitted to work in Canada
