Job Description Summary

Lead end-to-end Security and Administration for a large, 24x7 aerospace manufacturing facility, ensuring robust plant security, business continuity, statutory/ISO/AS9100 compliance, safe workplace conditions, and reliable infrastructure and services aligned to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

Job Description

Site Overview:

Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only India's defence and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India's aerospace ecosystem.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Security Governance & Risk Management
  • Develop and enforce site security strategy, policies, SOPs, and risk controls
  • Oversee guarding, access/badge control, CCTV, perimeter security, and incident response; conduct risk assessments, drills, and investigations; liaise with authorities
  • KPIs: CCTV uptime ≥ 99.5%; badge compliance ≥ 99%; high-severity incident CAPA closure ≤ 5 working days


Emergency Preparedness & Crisis Management
  • Own site emergency response with EHS (fire, medical, evacuation, BCP); lead drills, muster/accountability, and post-incident reviews
  • Ensure readiness of fire protection systems, first aid, and crisis communications
  • KPIs: Conduct 1 full-site drill/quarter; corrective actions closed ≤ 15 working days; fire system uptime ≥ 99.9%


Administration & Facility Operations
  • Ensure uninterrupted services for 24x7 operations: facilities, utilities, housekeeping, landscaping, waste management
  • Govern office administration, front office, asset/consumable control, and AMC renewals
  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, uptime monitoring, and escalation protocols for critical services
  • KPIs: Critical utilities uptime ≥ 99.7%; unplanned critical outages = 0/month; PM compliance = 100%


Statutory, ISO & Audit Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Factory Act, Contract Labour Act, Shops & Establishment, Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act (as applicable), and local norms
  • Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, AS9100 and customer audits; maintain licenses, permits, and audit-ready documentation
  • Coordinate inspections from government authorities and external auditors
  • KPIs: 100% on-time license/permit renewals; audit findings closure ≤ 30 days; zero statutory NCs


Vendor & Contract Management
  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendors for security, housekeeping, transport, canteen, and facility services
  • Define SLAs, KPIs, penalties; conduct periodic reviews and cost optimization without compromising compliance
  • KPIs: ≥ 95% vendor SLA adherence; YoY admin cost productivity ≥ 3% without service degradation


EHS, 5S & Workplace Discipline
  • Partner with EHS to sustain safe conditions; ensure closure of observations and near-miss actions
  • Drive 5S, cleanliness, visual management, and discipline across admin-controlled areas
  • KPIs: Safety observation closure ≤ 10 working days; 5S audit score ≥ 4.0/5 with quarterly improvement


Employee Services, Stakeholder & VIP Coordination
  • Act as single point of contact for admin/security services and grievance resolution with agreed TATs
  • Coordinate with HR, EHS, Finance, Operations for employee experience, audits, VIP/customer visits, and events
  • KPIs: Ticket first response ≤ 4 hours; ticket closure TAT ≤ 24-48 hours (priority-based); VIP visit readiness score ≥ 95%


MIS, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Publish MIS on security incidents, facility uptime, SLA adherence, costs, and vendor scorecards
  • Lead CI initiatives to improve service quality, compliance, and cost productivity
  • KPIs: Weekly MIS on time (100%); implement ≥ 2 CI projects/quarter with quantified benefits


Ideal Candidate :

Hands-on experience leading security and administration in large manufacturing environments; strong risk identification and mitigation capabilities; solid understanding of operational processes.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Administration, Management, Security Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 10-12 years of experience in security and administration within large manufacturing (preferably aerospace/automotive) with multi-shift operations
  • Experience managing multi-vendor ecosystems and large workforce environments
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001/14001/45001 and AS9100
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant enterprise tools; strong EHS orientation
