Job Description

If you are looking for a design-focused internship, are passionate about large-scale projects, and want to gain experience within a consulting engineering firm, the Industrial Mechanical and Piping team is the perfect fit for you.

The Québec team is currently very busy-and will continue to be over the next few years-with projects in the mining, water treatment, oil and gas, and chemical sectors.

We are therefore seeking an Industrial Mechanical and Piping Intern to join the AtkinsRéalis team in our Québec office and support the dynamic team already in place.

Your Role

• Participate in the design of mechanical and piping plans, specifications, and details
• Prepare design calculations in accordance with standards, codes, and regulations
• Assist in the preparation of mechanical and piping drawings
• Write technical specifications for procurement and construction
• Perform technical analysis of bids
• Develop piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)

About You

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in French
• Interest in industrial process or building mechanical systems
• Knowledge of one or more of the following software tools: AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, SolidWorks, PIPE-FLO
