Your role and responsibilities

You will responsibly Implements product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy in assigned area to meet business objectives. Implements marketing activities and supports Sales organization in driving sales and services for their respective products.

The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite

This role is contributing to the ABB India, Electrification Business, Smart Buildings Division as a Product Marketing Specialist for Control Products, will be based at Faridabad - India.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Product Strategy & Positioning: Own the product marketing strategy for control products, including market research, competitive analysis, and defining clear positioning and messaging.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Plan and execute product launch strategies in collaboration with product management, marketing communications, sales, and R&D teams.
  • Marketing & Sales Enablement: Develop clear and useful product content such as brochures, presentations, technical documentation, and sales enablement tools.
  • Customer & Market Intelligence: Gather customer insights, track market trends and competitor activities, and translate market needs into product requirements for feedback to product management.
  • Sales Support & Pricing: Train sales teams, support key customer engagements, develop pricing strategies, and create case studies and success stories to encourage adoption.

Qualifications for the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, with additional specialization in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Relevant Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product marketing within control products, electrical, or industrial automation domains.
  • Technical Proficiency: Extensive technical foundation in electrical engineering, automation, control systems, transformers, or related electrical products.
  • Product & Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of industrial automation solutions, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Marketing & Digital Skills: Proficiency in marketing tools, CRM systems, digital marketing platforms, and content management practices.
  • Communication & Presentation: Skilled communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical features into clear customer benefits.
  • Methodological & Strategic Thinking: Proficient methodological, strategic thinking, and project management capabilities to execute effective marketing initiatives.
  • Personal Attributes: Customer-focused, results-oriented mindset with in-depth business acumen, creativity, and the ability to thrive amidst evolving business challenges.
