Your Role and Responsibilities

You will gain vocational experience and acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed to support ABB's operations and to enhance personal education/employment opportunities.

We are looking for a motivated and proactive HR Internto join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain 360-degree exposure to all HR activities, including onboarding, training, employee engagement, and performance and reward.
You will work closely with our HR Business Partners and contribute to the Project Lilac that impact our organization globally and locally.

In this role you will be accountable for:

• Managing end‑to‑end employee onboarding, including communications, document collection, and one to one meetings with managers
• Overseeing vacation planning by collecting leave requests and verifying monthly balances
• Supporting compensation policy activities and ensuring alignment with internal guidelines
• Supporting in HR Metrics update and analysis and in other administrative HR task.
• Supporting HR Business Partner in assisting managers and employees at local level.
• SAP HR and Workday reporting
• Supporting all the activities related to the carve-out process.

Qualifications for the Role

• A Bachelor or a Master Degree in Human Resources or a relevant equivalent.
• Competence and passion in communication skills, new tool, digital communication.
• Manage relationships with managers and employees, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
• Handle pressure and stress management in a dynamic work environment
• Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and business needs
• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power-Point).
• You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
