This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. SoftBank is a globally recognized technology group and investor/operator focused on AI, robotics, and next-generation computing. We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to manage all HR activities in Eastern Europe Cluster countries (Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania, and Hungary). This role ensures alignment with global People strategy while complying with local labor laws and supporting business objectives. You will act as a strategic partner to leadership and a trusted advisor to all line managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing Cluster and country HR priorities in line with the Global People Strategy, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Acting as a trusted HR partner to the Cluster Robotics Leadership Team, advising on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management to enable effective collaboration.
  • Managing recruitment, onboarding, retention, and capability development to meet current and future business needs.
  • Coordinating talent management, succession planning, and learning initiatives in alignment with the Global People Strategy.
  • Implementing competitive Compensation & Benefits strategies, overseeing payroll, HRIS, and HR operations to ensure accuracy, governance, and efficiency.
  • Driving employee engagement, well-being, and inclusion initiatives to strengthen ABB Robotics' employer brand.
  • Managing employee relations and external representation by collaborating with works councils, unions, labor authorities, and HR forums, while monitoring HR KPIs and leading continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years in HR, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Polish labor law and HR best practices.
  • Proficient communication skills in Polish and English.
  • Leadership, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work in a challenging, international environment.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Customer-focused and results-driven.
  • High intercultural sensitivity and collaboration skills.
  • Structured approach with attention to detail.
  • Collaboration and action orientation
