Detailed job description and main responsibilities
• Ensure that the project framework is effectively planned and managed in accordance with the agreed project management processes and the requirements of the key milestone schedule, to provide the management information required to manage the overall programme.
• Analysing the Programme to identify critical interdependencies (logical, benefit and resources) and their impacts, reviewing options and recommending corrective action as appropriate.
• Managing the population and on-going maintenance of the Master Programme, key milestone schedule and other programmes as required, ensuring that they set out the current status and progress on individual projects.
• Ensuring effective programme controls including planning, reporting, risk and issue management, quality and budget control (based on PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Programmes methodology and best practice), are consistently and effectively applied and in accordance with Trust guidelines.
• Defining, taking responsibility for and communicating the programme's governance framework and ensuring adherence to the framework.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
