The project is currently in the development phase, with construction targeted to commence by July 4.The client is seeking a senior, hands-on Project Manager to strengthen local project management capabilities through development and execution. This role is critical to ensuring schedule certainty, regulatory compliance, and construction readiness.Role SummaryThe Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end project management of an onshore wind project in the U.S., from late-stage development through construction execution. The role requires deep familiarity with U.S. wind project development, civil works, and stakeholder coordination, with a strong on-the-ground presence in Montana.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage project development and execution activities through construction startCoordinate and oversee local subcontractors and stakeholders, including:Environmental and permitting consultantsTransmission System Operators (TSOs)Legal counselCivil works and balance-of-plant contractorsEnsure alignment with U.S. regulatory and permitting requirementsManage schedule, risks, interfaces, and deliverables across all project disciplinesPlay a key role in safe harbor structuring and execution under current U.S. regulationsAct as Storm's local representative, ensuring strong site presence and proactive issue resolutionKey RequirementsSenior Project Manager with extensive experience in U.S. onshore wind projectsProven track record managing projects from development through construction (full project lifecycle)Strong experience with civil works and construction executionDemonstrated experience with safe-harboring wind projects under U.S. regulationsSafe harbor experience is absolutely criticalFamiliarity with IRS Notice 2025-42 is highly valuedExcellent coordination skills with multiple local and national stakeholdersAbility to work independently and take ownership in a fast-moving project environmentLocation & AvailabilityStrong preference for candidates based in Montana or the surrounding regionMust be willing and able to travel regularly to the site near Miles City, MTPreferred availability: 4-5 days per week on-siteContract DetailsFreelance / contractor engagementInitial duration of 6 months, with a strong likelihood of extension to 12 months based on performance and project needsImmediate start requiredAdditional NotesThis is a high-priority, time-critical role with direct impact on construction readiness and project success
