Responsibilities

-Plan, prepare, and execute commissioning activities for cranes and lifting equipment.
-Ensure a safe and efficient handover of equipment to the operations team upon completion.
-Oversee activities at fabrication sites, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), testing, and inspections.
-Develop and implement testing strategies and commissioning procedures for crane and lifting systems.
-Coordinate with various departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution with a strong focus on HSSE.
-Manage vendor personnel and ensure the availability of necessary spare parts and special tools.
-Provide engineering input and verify documentation relevant to mechanical completion and commissioning.
-Update progress in the project completion system and participate in punch-out rounds.

Required expertise

-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
-Experience with fully electrical cranes is considered a significant advantage.
-Proven background in planning and executing commissioning activities within large-scale projects.
-Expertise in developing testing strategies and detailed commissioning procedures for complex equipment.
-Ability to work independently and manage contractors and vendor resources effectively.
-Familiarity with project completion systems (e.g., PIMS) for progress tracking and documentation.
-Strong understanding of and commitment to health, safety, and environmental (HSSE) standards.
