Global BIM Expert - Real Estate Job Family: Real Estate About the Role Join as a Global BIM Expert within our central Building Excellence team. In this pivotal role, you will define and drive the Implementation of the BIM method for worldwide construction program, ranging from new greenfield factories for power transformers, switchgear products, gas turbines, wind turbine nacelles and blades and new test facilities, innovation centers, training and office buildings. The annual volume of Real Estate construction programme is exceeding €2 billion EUR. Your mission is to develop a BIM Strategy for SE Real Estate to ensure that all construction projects meet world-class design standards, are optimized for the designated purpose are checked on possible clashes before start of construction and align with strategic goals such as Zero Harm and climate neutrality. You will lead global initiatives to harmonize our global BIM approach, implement digital quality tools, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across regions. Snapshot of Your Day Imagine shaping global footprint by implementing the BIM method for projects that power the global energy transition. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, develop global guidelines, and monitor performance through advanced digital dashboards and KPIs. How You'll Make a Difference • Define and implement a global BIM Implementation Strategy aligned with sustainability and safety objectives. • Develop and maintain global design standards, harmonizing regional practices for consistency across all projects. • Lead BIM design quality audits, gate reviews, and compliance checks for large-scale industrial construction projects. • Oversee supplier and contractor quality performance on BIM creation topics, ensuring adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements. • Drive digital transformation in quality management through BIM-based tools, dashboards, and automated reporting. • Design and deliver global training programs to build quality capability across project teams. • Benchmark Real Estate´s BIM readiness against industry leaders and implement continuous improvement initiatives. What You Bring • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Construction, Architecture, Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. • 10+ years of experience managing global industrial construction projects with a strong focus on BIM. • Expert knowledge of international BIM standards (ISO 19650) and industry-best practices on the implementation of BIM. • Proficiency in digital quality tools, data analytics, BIM-based systems and PowerBI. • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills; fluency in English is essential.
