This Position reports to:
Transport Management Center Manager

Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role, you will be responsible for managing local import/export operations. You will oversee the performance of customs brokers and ensure the smooth execution of trade and customs activities within the local unit, including proper documentation and compliance with regulations.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This position contributes to the Motion NEMA Division in Mexico, based in San Luis Potosí, supporting operations for both the MX and US NEMA factories .

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for customs brokers when clarification is needed (e.g., product valuation or classification).
• Audit customs brokers to ensure accuracy in customs entries, invoicing, and archiving.
• Manage all necessary documentation and online forms for efficient, cost-effective, and compliant import/export activities.
• Maintain and share knowledge of all relevant import/export laws, procedures, tariffs, duties, licenses, and restrictions.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in logistics and international transportation.
• Strong knowledge of import/export processes and customs legislation.
• Experience in managing and developing transportation suppliers.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
• Certification or knowledge in SAP, CT-PAT, OEA, and VAT is desirable.
• Experience with TMS (Transport Management Systems) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Administration, or related field.
