Quantitative Analysts
Our Quantitative Analysts work on the quantitative models that support ENGIE's trading, portfolio and commercial decision‑making. These roles combine elements of data science, optimisation and forecasting with strong Python capability. People who thrive in these roles usually enjoy:

• Developing and improving quantitative models (e.g. time‑series, Monte Carlo, optimisation, valuation)
• Coding in Python and working with SQL/databases
• Translating complex modelling outputs into clear business insights
• Automating workflows and strengthening analytics systems
• Working closely with traders, analysts and commercial teams

Trading Quantitative Analysts

Our Trading Quants focus on modelling trading products, including option valuation and structured commodity pricing. If you enjoy fast‑paced market environments and mathematically rish modelling, this may be the role for you. We typically look for:

• A solid foundation in financial mathematics (e.g. stochastic calculus)
• Experience building option pricing models
• Strong Python and numerical modelling skills
• Interest in trading‑floor dynamics and real‑time market behaviour
• Exposure to investment banking, hedge funds or commodities (beneficial but not essential)
