Regional Head of Procurement (MENA) - Renewable EnergyLocation: Middle East / North Africa (Flexible)A leading global renewable energy company is expanding its footprint across the Middle East and North Africa and is seeking an experienced Regional Head of Procurement (MENA) to lead the region's procurement strategy and execution.This is a senior leadership role with full ownership across engineering, equipment, and consulting/services procurement, requiring strong commercial judgement, supplier leadership, contract governance, and cost control capabilities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in strengthening procurement performance, improving compliance, and supporting long-term regional growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage end-to-end procurement activities across the Middle East, including:Engineering-related procurementEquipment procurement (including major project packages)Consulting and service procurementConduct structured market research across MENA to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support procurement strategy and decision-makingEstablish and maintain strategic supplier relationships and lead supplier performance management, including regular evaluation to ensure quality and service standardsOwn procurement contract negotiation, review, and governance to ensure compliance, commercial protection, and risk mitigationDevelop and implement robust cost control plans to improve procurement efficiency and value deliveryBuild, optimise, and standardise procurement processes and systems to ensure governance, compliance, and consistency across the regionSupport ongoing regional growth, including future team and capability development as requiredRequirementsBachelor's degree or above, preferably in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related disciplineMinimum 10 years of procurement experience, including procurement leadership responsibilities (MENA exposure is required)Strong working knowledge of procurement frameworks and demonstrated success in:Supplier negotiation and supplier managementContract management and commercial risk oversightCost control and commercial governanceStrong analytical capability, attention to detail, and ability to operate with urgency in a fast-paced environmentExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and conflict resolution skillsProficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage)Willingness to travel across the Middle East and North Africa as requiredWhy JoinThis is an opportunity to join an established global renewable energy platform at a high-growth stage, offering regional ownership, leadership visibility, and the ability to shape procurement outcomes across strategic projects in MENA.To express interest, please apply directly or reach out for a confidential discussion.
