JOB DESCRIPTION

As Product Responsible Engineer, you will take full ownership of NOV's lattice boom crane product line, managing its performance, development, and future direction. The role is central to delivering world-leading crane solutions for national and international projects, including the development of fully electric offshore cranes with groundbreaking technology.

You will work cross-functionally with engineering disciplines, procurement, production support, sales, and product line management, ensuring that products meet technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Product ownership and development - Own and further develop the lattice boom crane product line in close collaboration with engineering, procurement, production support, sales, and product line management.
• Technical and regulatory oversight - Stay up to date on relevant technological developments, standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure product compliance and competitiveness.
• Cost control - Maintain cost control and profitability for products within your portfolio.
• Bid and sales support - Participate in bid planning and evaluation together with the sales team, supporting the sales team with technical evaluations, creating engineering budgets and technical sales documentation.
• Delivery of equipment - Support the organization in delivery of equipment and related technical documentation.
• Engineering support - Provide engineering support to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
• HSE compliance - Ensure compliance with product-related Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and actively promote HSE best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Multidisciplinary engineering experience from offshore, maritime, or land-based industries involving machinery or equipment packages.
• Understanding of product development, engineering interfaces, and lifecycle management.

Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience working with sales, procurement, or production support functions.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and HSE requirements.
• Exposure to offshore crane or lifting equipment.
• Experience with engineering tools such as AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
