In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Responsible for period end and year end accounting closing schedule.
• Manage monthly closing of financial records, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Responsible for monthly/quarterly/yearly supplemental reporting as well as ad-hoc requests for financial information.
• Coordinate various audits i.e. statutory audit, SOX audits, internal control review, operation review etc.
• Assist in tax preparation and filing requirements.
• Oversee other accounting function clerks and responsible for review accounts and make any necessary adjusting entries.
• Assist various departments in accounting issues and queries.
• Support management proactively with timely and effective account analysis and reconciliation.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor degree or above with major in Accounting/Finance;
• GL related work experience is preferred;
• Knowledge of an ERP system, Oracle experience is preferred;
• Good team work and collaboration;
• Good organizational and prioritization skills;
• Good Excel, PowerBI, English and communication skills;
• Can work independently with minimum supervision, self-motivated;
• Possess good problem-solving abilities, with lots of initiative and drive;
• Have a strong sense of internal control and a keen eye for details and process improvements.
• Occupational health and safety acumen.
