Join our affiliate TotalEnergies E&P Angola in Luanda !

Purchasing is vital to ensure continuity of affiliate's operational and production activities. The job involves regular contact with local and international suppliers.

You will liaise with Métier Partners and contribute to the processes and communication of the purchasing activity as described below:

• Build and maintain relationships with Métier Partners and suppliers
• Conduct Duet/Triplet meetings and evaluate suppliers with Métier Partners
• Manage and follow up on purchase orders until payment and reception
• Prepare Contract Committee documents
• Analyze all Purchase Requisitions (PR) expressed by Métier Partners to ensure that adequate material specification, budget authorizations and relative cost centers have been provided
• Propose bidder lists according to the nature of the requests
• Group requisitions to reduce costs and organize tenders and requests for quotations
• Answer tenderers' requests for clarification
• Evaluate offers for the best conditions, Lead negotiations with suppliers and issue Recommendation to Award (RTA) with Métier Partners
• Ensure follow-up of purchase orders, validate and acknowledge receipt of POs
• Ensure timely supplier deliveries and Follow up on goods receipt
• Negotiate and resolve amendments.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications :

• Master's Degree with a specialization in Contracts and Procurement.

Technical skills :

• Ability to design purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Strong understanding of market trends, cost structures, supplier landscapes, and associated risks.
• Skilled in identifying, qualifying, and selecting suppliers through structured procurement processes.
• Knowledge of contractual clauses, applicable legislation, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to monitor KPIs, build partnerships, and manage supplier-related risks.
• Effective use of ERP systems and digital procurement platforms.
• Experience in purchasing would be a plus.

Computing skills :

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Knowledge of SAP
• Knowledge of Power App and Power BI would be a plus

Languages :

• English: B2/C1 level
• French: B2 level
• Portuguese would be appreciated
