Strategic Procurement Specialist 12-Month Rolling Contract Role Overview This client is seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Specialist to lead high-value sourcing and supplier management activities within a complex, global environment. This role is focused on securing cost-effective, resilient supply chains for aerospace and industrial components through strategic sourcing, commercial negotiation, and long-term supplier partnerships. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing activities for aerospace and industrial components Conduct complex commercial and contractual negotiations, including risk mitigation and contract structuring Perform detailed cost breakdown and cost-value engineering analyses to identify savings opportunities Develop and execute long-term supplier strategies aligned with business objectives Manage and influence internal and external stakeholders across a global matrix organisation Ensure supply continuity while driving cost optimisation and performance improvement Support strategic planning initiatives and continuous improvement across procurement processes Candidate Requirements Minimum 12 years' experience in strategic procurement, ideally within the aerospace or automotive industries Proven expertise in: Contract negotiation and commercial risk management Strategic supplier sourcing and relationship management Long-term procurement and category strategy development Cost-value engineering and cost analysis Stakeholder management at senior levels Strong analytical capability with intermediate Excel skills Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree and/or CIPS qualification preferred) Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a complex, global matrix environment
