Based in Seregno, Italy, you will provide direct supervision to service engineers, guide them in resolving technical challenges, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. This position combines leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration across teams to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Assign and schedule tasks for the service engineering team to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Monitor team performance, including utilization, customer satisfaction, and service quality.
- Actively support the team by performing tasks alongside them when needed.
- Ensure service jobs meet all requirements, deliverables, and schedules.
- Oversee certification, training, and development for service engineers.
- Ensure compliance with Emerson's business processes, including documentation, timesheets, and site visit reports.
- Promote adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and standards.
- Set clear goals, manage results, and fulfill HR responsibilities for your team.
- Manage orders and maintenance contracts for specific customers, including cost control and change order management.
- Foster strong customer relationships and maintain financial accountability for contracts.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (such as control engineering, computer science, or electronics) or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in automation and control systems within process industries within similar positions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English.
- Ability to travel and work at customer sites as required.
- Project management skills and a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Familiarity with Emerson's systems, products, and services.
- Relevant certifications for service engineering tasks performed on-site.
- Experience working with pharmaceutical customers and understanding GMP standards.
