Job Description

The intern will support GE's Aerospace Composite /Metallic business unit through the processing, visualization, and reporting of operational data, strengthening the productive and efficient operation of the business. The position aims to promote transparency, decision support and continuous improvement in an aerospace MRO environment.

MAIN TASKS:

• Extraction of operational data from SAP and related systems

• Cleaning, merging, and analyzing data with Excel and Smartsheet ( Big data vs Smart data)

• Support Creation Flight Deck dashboards and visual reports

• Monitoring SQDIP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity) indicators

• Supporting daily management and tier meetings with data visualization

• Creating decision making stuff

• Cooperation with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Planning and Flight Deck teams

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ongoing higher education (engineering, economics, industrial engineering, data analyst or similar)

• Confident knowledge of Excel, Access, software suitable for business analysis (formulas, pivots, diagrams, etc.)

• Analytical thinking, precise work

• Interest in Lean and operational excellence

• Use of English in a work environment

AN ADVANTAGE:

• SAP experience

• Knowledge of Smartsheet or other reporting tools

• Lean basics (Kaizen, KPIs, standard work)

• Power BI, SQL knowledge
