Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the service strategy and drive service growth at the respective unit level. Each day, you will lead the Service organization and be responsible for the P&L to achieve performance targets and to optimize the utilization of Service resources. You will also showcase your expertise by running the day-to-day service business to ensure profitable growth and improvement of service productivity.

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the service strategy and drive service growth at the respective unit level. Each day, you will lead the Service organization and be responsible for the P&L to achieve performance targets and to optimize the utilization of Service resources. You will also showcase your expertise by running the day-to-day service business to ensure profitable growth and improvement of service productivity.

This role is contributing to the {Electrification} in {Oman}.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Creating and driving implementation of service strategy as a member of the management team.
- Ensuring that strategic plans are implemented consistently in the service organization through collaboration with other businesses.
- Driving, implementing, reporting, and monitoring performance targets as part of the respective unit P&L (financial, productivity, investments, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, etc.).
- Investing in improving the quality of existing service products and in developing new service products to expand the portfolio in line with global direction.
- Coordinate with Application Engineering and project group on customer issues for resolution and utilize Application Engineers accordingly as needed to overcome customer problems.
- Supervise quotations for all Services LV , MV and Automation services for group profitability per ELSE UAE Local Division Manager direction and make certain all Account receivables are cleaned up with positive cash flow per budget.
- Delivering operational/project targets (e.g. OTD, lead time, quality, ease of doing business, etc.) to improve net promoter score (NPS).
Qualifications for the role
- 10+ years of experience in similar field or role.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Knowledge of MV, LV and Automation products.
- Team coaching and good team player.
- Commercial & Contracts Knowledge.
- MS Office, MS project & SAP knowledge.
- Knowledge of turn-key projects involving civil work, that requires hiring and management of sub-contractors while ensuring compliance with ABB HSE standards. (Engineering and manufacturing included).
- Conflict management and escalations.
- Changing customer financial status and behavior (should come under challenges.
- Flexibility networking 24 hours if needed.
