About the mission we offer you:

As part of the digitization of engineering processes, we want to study and develop an intelligent tool capable of automatically generating 2D plans from existing plans (2D and 3D), taking into account technical constraints and economic criteria. These plans contain rich information: dimensions, connections between blocks, connection costs, etc.

Analysis of the existing situation

• Study the available 2D and 3D plans (CAD, Revit, AutoCAD, etc.)
• Extract technical data: dimensions, connections, types, costs
• Study the characteristic parameters of the modules (building, piping, cabling)

Development of an AI engine

• Use AI tools (vision, graphs, LLM, Bayesian optimization) to analyze recurring patterns
• Automatically generate 2D plans according to defined constraints (functional, normative, economic)

Economic optimization

• Define a cost model for connections and placements
• Implement an algorithm to optimize the placement of objects in the plan

Validation and use cases

• Test the tool on real cases
• Compare the results with existing plans

During this internship, you will be supported by a tutor who will answer any questions you may have. This internship will be an opportunity for you to develop your skills and knowledge.

Starting Date: March 2026

Duration : 6 months

• Skills in AI, image processing, optimization, CAD
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, modeling tools
