About the Role
The Supply Chain Department ensures the timely delivery of equipment and materials that meet project specifications, cost targets, and quality standards. As QC Coordinator, you play a key role in coordinating vendor inspections and overseeing quality control activities across assigned procurement packages.
You act as the central link between Engineering, Procurement, Suppliers, QA/QC teams, and third-party inspection agencies to ensure compliant and on-time delivery. The role involves inspection planning, quality issue resolution, audit readiness, and document control support. You report to the Project Manager for inspection-related scope and work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Site teams.

Key Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate inspection activities such as FATs, audits, and performance tests with internal teams, NOV quality teams, suppliers, and third-party inspection agencies.
- Assign Package Managers or qualified inspectors to procurement packages as required.
- Plan and organize supplier inspections, ensuring Engineering participation where needed.
- Ensure inspection notifications are communicated to clients, Project Managers, and relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor inspector attendance and ensure inspection reports are issued accurately and on time.
- Take responsibility for quality assurance of deliverables in accordance with contracts, purchase orders, ITPs, and specifications.
Additional Responsibilities
- Evaluate the need for resident or site inspectors in coordination with the QA/QC Manager and Project Manager.
- Negotiate inspection agency rates and validate inspection agency invoices when applicable.
- Support audit readiness and quality documentation control.
- Contribute to projects as a QC Coordinator and Package Manager, supporting cross-functional project execution.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
- Experience in a QA/QC environment.
- Proven experience in supplier qualification and supplier management.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong understanding of quality control, inspection processes, and compliance requirements.
Desired Qualifications
- Offshore industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of applicable offshore rules and regulations.
- Dutch language skills.
- Experience coordinating third-party inspection agencies
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
