Accountable for the safe execution and leadership of the programme to the client's satisfaction, consistent with cost, schedule and contractual requirements while maintaining bottom line responsibility for financial success. Delivers expected results for financial, HSE, client satisfaction, budget, and schedule performance.

KBR has been appointed under a framework agreement with the largest developer in Abu Dhabi to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects that contribute to Abu Dhabi's growth. This includes developing essential infrastructure such as transportation networks and utilities, alongside public spaces and involving also the shaping of thriving communities by managing the development of residential housing projects and ensuring the quality of new educational facilities, together with the development of mosques and maximizing urban space through infill development projects. This PMC role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on Abu Dhabi's built environment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage a large multi-disciplinary programme team to successfully deliver the programme in accordance with policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the Company

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the overall programme budget and schedule
  • Health, Safety and Environmental performance
  • Commercial negotiation and strategic management of Consultants and Contractors
  • Client liaison and management
  • Day to day management of KBR staff
  • Project management reporting to the Client.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • BSc construction management, engineering, architecture or equivalent
  • Minimum overall relevant experience 25 years
  • Minimum relevant experience 12 years in the role projects
  • Minimum Regional Experience 5 years
  • Required professional memberships and charterships CEng, MICE or MIStructE
  • Sound knowledge of all commercial and engineering aspects of major asset and civil infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and utilities
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills and use of MS Office
  • Experience of major projects in the Middle East
  • Fluency in English language both written and spoken, Arabic speaking advantageous.
