Your role and responsibilities

We're seeking a talented Automation QA Specialist to help ABB deliver robust, compliant automation solutions to our customers. If you're passionate about ensuring compliance, enjoy working with technical systems, and thrive in a role that combines interpersonal skills with meaningful responsibilities, this is your opportunity. In this position, you'll play a vital role in supporting validation activities within the TIMS system for DCS projects serving major pharmaceutical clients. You'll join a supportive team where trust and collaboration are key and you'll collaborate closely with engineers and project teams, gaining exposure to cutting-edge automation technologies and complex systems that drive innovation in pharma manufacturing.

Your main task will among others be:

  • Participate in setting up validation testing activities in TIMS
  • Creation and review of test documentation
  • Coordinating document deliveries
  • Guide engineers to the appropriate quality level


Qualifications for the role

  • A technical background with 2-4 years of QA experience in pharmaceutical or biotech production environments.
  • Solid understanding of project workflows and automation validation processes within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Hands-on experience with IT solutions supporting validation activities (experience with TIMS is a strong advantage).
  • Ability to thrive in a project-driven organization with defined milestones and multiple parallel projects.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess technical issues and provide optimal solutions for customers.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to ensure QA compliance with customer requirements.
