Short description

We are looking for an HDD Driller to join a trenchless project on the East Coast of Italy. The project involves drilling 8 HDD boreholes of approximately 500 meters each with an HK 100-250 ton drilling rig.

Function description

For this project, you are expected to:

• Operate and control HK 100 and 250 ton HDD rigs during pilot drilling, reaming, and pullback.
• Monitor drilling parameters (pressure, torque, RPM, mud flow) and adjust operations to ensure safe and efficient progress.
• Coordinate daily activities with the rig crew, mud engineer, and project supervisor.
• Interpret drill plans and alignment requirements; maintain correct bore path.
• Perform rig checks, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure continuous operation.
• Oversee safe handling of drill rods, tooling, and downhole equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HDD Driller on large rigs (100-250+ ton class).
• Strong understanding of HDD processes, tooling, mud systems, and downhole equipment.
• Ability to work long shifts in a fast‑paced, production‑focused environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within an international crew.
• EU passport or eligibility to work in Italy.
• Good English and/or Italian level.
• Safety‑oriented mindset and experience following strict HSE procedures.
