This role is responsible for overseeing the coordination and logistics of Cementation and Completion operations across the Caribbean region, with a primary focus on Guyana. The position ensures the successful planning and execution of activities including equipment assembly, testing, inspection, load-outs, installation, and job close-out. The role works closely with Cementation and Completions teams to plan, deliver, and execute operations safely, efficiently, and flawlessly.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate jobs, equipment, resources, and personnel to meet customer and operational requirements.
  • Provide critical on-the-job operational and technical support when required.
  • Perform accurate job simulations, analyze results, and present findings to clients.
  • Participate in Peer Reviews and, when required, Contract Reviews during the Job Planning phase.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of equipment usage and services delivered in the field.
  • Participate in pre-job briefings with the Field Service Supervisor and local management.
  • Assist with job preparation activities as needed, including:

    - Measuring and documenting sales and rental equipment.

    - Assembling tools per approved work instructions.

    - Preparing tools and equipment for testing.

    - Disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and redressing equipment per established procedures.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Completions Systems products, tools, and services, ensuring accurate identification of all components.
  • Investigate non-conformances and implement lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
  • Recommend improvements to methods, performance, and quality to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Perform work assignments to the highest quality standards in compliance with company procedures.
  • Liaise with customers to identify future operational opportunities and product adaptations.
  • Identify synergies across product lines to maximize customer value.
  • Assist the Operations Manager with tender preparations, including equipment selection.
  • Attend client meetings to provide technical and operational support.
  • Develop and deliver professional presentations to customers.
  • Communicate job-specific details and operational updates to customers as required.
  • Attend all required safety and technical training sessions.
  • Comply with Weatherford's Quality Policy, Quality Systems Manual, Operating Procedures, Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions.
  • Understand and adhere to all company safety rules, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Be available to work outside normal business hours as business operations require.
  • Be available for regional and international travel.


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably within Completions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid project management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with internal teams and external customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to service quality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Field Engineering experience.
  • Valid driver's license.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Physical capability to respond immediately and effectively to emergency situations.
