Our dynamic Gdansk Customs team is expanding! We are seeking a talented Junior Customs Specialist to join our team, which currently comprises six dedicated professionals and is supported by a regional manager based in the UK.

The Junior Customs Specialist plays a critical role in facilitating international shipping operations by managing customs declarations across airfreight, sea freight, and road freight shipments. Prioritizing safety, quality, efficiency, and customer service, this position involves preparing comprehensive customs documentation, collaborating with key stakeholders, and ensuring timely submission of clearance documents to prevent shipping delays. The role requires a proactive approach to navigating complex logistics processes, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting smooth international trade operations through precise and efficient documentation management.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Navigate the exciting world of international trade documentation
• Become a documentation wizard, crafting precise customs LOI with due diligence
• Decode the intricate language of tariff frameworks and customs regulations
• Prepare import and export letters of instructions for brokers
• Be the communication bridge between internal business units
• Develop sharp problem-solving skills by tracking and resolving shipping challenges
• Escalate critical issues with confidence and professionalism

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Logistics area
• First professional experience or internship in the domain (will be an asset)
• Excellent English skills
• Computer literacy
• Great communication skills
