We are looking for Cooks to join the Gateway Project in the United Kingdom. A great opportunity to work in a dynamic maritime environment and ensure high-quality meals for the crew.

Function description

We are seeking Cooks to work on Split Hopper Barges for the Gateway Project in the United Kingdom. Applicants must have proven experience in catering for small crews and either hold a valid UK Frontier Worker Permit or be local to the area. The barge will operate with a POB of 10, and each candidate will be required to complete a six-week shift.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cook in maritime or remote environments
• Ability to plan and prepare balanced meals for a crew of 10
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Fluent in English.
• Valid UK Frontier Worker Permit or local residency
• Medical Seafarer MLC
• Valid Passport
• Valid CoC and STCW certification
