JOB DESCRIPTION

Support facility's Repair business in quality control inspection and to ensure conformance and/or compliance to customers', regulation & company requirements and, Global QA/BPA standard, procedure & process.



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform qualified NDE, visual & dimensional inspection (initial, in-process, final & Out-going QC inspection).
• Provide QC report for all inspections in standard format & upload report in RigOffice (DMS).
• Control of inspection tools and/or QC process equipment.
• Maintain integrity & accuracy of process equipment used for test, inspection & report i.e. approved calibration, active calibration validity, acceptable tolerance etc.
• Provide identification & traceability report of critical parts/items in standard format.
• Witness, review & certify pressure test record, layout inspection (QP/ITP) and external work.
• Report & record all nonconforming or quality issue for investigation/RCA on PIMS and to initiate the CAR/PAR to responsible Business Units Lead for quality improvement.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in engineering or equivalent combination of education & experience in engineering field.
• Certified NDE Level II Inspector ASNT-TC-1A or CWIP on MPI, LPI.
• Experience working with ISO 9001/API-Q1 QMS standard
• Experience of various inspection requirements- Welding, PMI-Materials, Quality Plan, Inspection Test Plan, NDE Methods, CMM-Dimension, International Standards i.e. API, ASME, ISO etc.
• Good English written & communication.
