The Team - Your Impact

Our domain Cloud Native SW Engineering Platforms - Automation Factory develops our GitOps-based Atlantis platform that provides engineering teams within E.ON standardized, automated capabilities to accelerate and improve software delivery across all business units. As part of the Platform Team, you will play a key role in developing and operating the platform, ensuring its robustness and scalability, and driving its evolution in a goal- and value-oriented way.

Your Role - meaningful & rewarding

• Support in developing and maintaining our automation platform and developer tooling using Go, Kubernetes, Crossplane and ArgoCD
• Collaborate with other developers on developing new platform capabilities
• Support in improving workflows and developer self-service
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions and an agile working environment
• Contribute to our internal documentation and playbooks for platform usage and incident response

Your Profile - authentic & open-minded

• Currently enrolled as a student in a technical degree program such as Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering or a related field
• Strong interest in cloud-native technologies and platform operation with a conceptual understanding
• First hands-on experience with at least one of the following technologies: Go, Kubernetes, Crossplane, Docker, Terraform, Azure, AWS
• Initial experience in a Software, DevOps or Platform Engineering role through studies, internships or working student positions is considered a plus
• A proactive and collaborative mindset with eagerness to learn
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
