JOB PURPOSE:
Operate and manage bulk product handling systems and equipment used in cementing operations. Ensure the
effective and safe handling, storage, and distribution of bulk cementing products and additives, supporting
efficient and successful cementing operations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific Accountabilities
• Operate and monitor bulk handling systems, including silos, conveyors, and pneumatic systems, to
manage and distribute bulk cementing products and additives as per operational requirements.
• Set up and calibrate bulk handling equipment prior to use, ensuring accurate measurement and delivery
of bulk materials to mixing and cementing units.
• Oversee the loading, unloading, and storage of bulk materials, including cement, additives, and
chemicals, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of bulk handling equipment, performing troubleshooting
and repairs as necessary to maintain equipment functionality.
• Monitor real-time operational data, including material flow rates, levels, and system pressures, and
make adjustments to equipment settings to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC Drilling's health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, including
proper handling of hazardous materials and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain accurate records of bulk product usage, equipment performance, and operational activities,
preparing reports as required for operational and inventory management.
• Coordinate with cementing operations teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of bulk products to
wellsites as per job schedules.
• Provide training and support to junior operators and field assistants on bulk product handling
procedures, equipment operations, and safety practices.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste materials and residual products in accordance with environmental
regulations and company policies.
• Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of
practice.
Minimum Qualification
• High school diploma or equivalent. A technical diploma in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
• 3-5 years of experience in bulk product handling or similar operations within the oil and gas industry.
