This Position reports to:
Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

This role is contributing to the ABB Robotics in Singapore.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high quality to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Working closely with the sales team from contract award to project closure to meet all technical requirements.
• Collaborating with vendors to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations.
• Taking ownership of customer-reported issues and providing timely, effective resolutions.
• Conducting risk assessments, ensuring site safety, and providing guidance to partners and contractors.
• Ensuring all engineering activities and deliverables comply with safety standards, cybersecurity regulations, and contractual requirements.
• Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques and procedures in project execution.
• Providing technical support during testing, installation, and commissioning stages.
• Preparing project documentation within the assigned scope of work.
• Supporting the preparation of proposals and presentations for engineering projects.

Qualifications for the role

• Strong proficiency in project management.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in robotics applications or automation.
• Proficient in RobotStudio, RAPID programming, or PLC programming software.
• Demonstrated strengths in customer management and vendor management.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Comfortable communicating in the local languages used in Singapore.
• Possess a valid work permit to work in Singapore.
