We are currently looking for Quality Systems Advisor based at Mumbai with details mentioned below.
Let me tell you about the role!
This role reports to General Manager Quality Control and works closely with Manufacturing Plants, Third Party manufacturing units, GLT, Sales & Marketing, Customer Excellence & Operations and the functions and supports the Quality agenda for the country. The incumbent is responsible for all quality activities relating to the continuous improvement specifically:
1. Accountable for ISO & IATF certification Audits and internal Quality systems audits to ensure compliance to both internal and external standards.
2. Manage systems documentations, reporting and notification.
3. Conducting Management system training when new updates or changes are updated.
4. SPA for all other certifications required by OEM like Ford Q1. Collate feedback from OEM visits and
audits. Draw up action plan for improvement. Help plants to respond to OEM queries / action
points.
5. Provide functional expertise in statistical methods. Review FMEA. Participate in new project
FMEA's.
6. Track quality incidents and conduct RCA's and ensure RCA actions are being completed on time
7. Track & Close quality complaints logged in Customer Relationship Management Tool as per agreed RCA timelines.
8. Participate in Risk assessment process of plants and conduct barrier audits.
9. Understand and own the Cross-contamination Metrics requirements. Work closely with plants to
complete the CCM study and agree on action plan. Help plants to submit waivers where required.
10. Provide advice on Quality related matters by referring to FPT QA manual.
11.Track closure of QA audit scores and help plants seek waivers.
12.Quality SPA for new product introduction / warehouse changes.
13.Conduct 3P Q Standard audits and assist Contract Manufacturing Manager in implementing 3P
Playbook as regards to Quality.
14.Conduct sample Q standard audits at plants, suppliers and warehouse Q standard audit.
15.Devise mechanism for checking Quality assurance of Purchased for resale products.
16. Conduct sample formulation control process audits.
17. Publish monthly Quality KPI and QC MI's.
What you will deliver
1. Lead the ISO / IATF / OEM certifications for Castrol India sites.
2. Lead the Quality KPI management system & Publish Quality MI on timely basis.
3. Track Quality Incidents & Conduct RCA's. Ensure RCA actions are completed on time.
4. Conduct Quality Assurance audits for Manufacturing Q Standards, Warehouse Q Standards, Packaging Supplier Audits, Imported FG process audits, 3P Manufacturing Audits & Formulation Audits as per agreed plan.
5. Provide technical expertise on statistical tools to conduct & review FMEA's across different operations.
6. Drives standardization throughout all teams within the plant including CI-ways of working and use of Microsoft 365 tools (such as Power BI, Power Apps)
7. Act in a manner consistent with the BP "Who We Are" through our values, building enduring capability, energizing people and maximizing value in both short- and long-term commitments.
What will make you successful
1. At least 7 - 10 years' experience in supply chain and leading/ working on world class supply chain techniques.
2. Sound knowledge of statistical tools. Certification like six sigma/ PMP/ Lean management will be added advantage.
3. This position requires good people management, leadership and influencing skills.
4. Experience in communicating and interfacing with all levels of the organization
5. Demonstrate ability to manage multiple activities concurrently and developing process enhancing strategies
6. Ideally a digital expert & Good Analytical & Problem-solving skills
7. Should have demonstrated experience of Managing the Management systems for a plant or function.
8. Should have completed ISO 9001 Lead auditor Course.
