Job Summary:
QC is responsible for specific first article inspection, review of material certification, and the inspection of customer supplied product as part of the overall service provision of the aftermarket activity. QC inspection is also responsible for the inspection of manufactured product as well as the provision of test witnessing support. QC are also responsible for the collation of the MRB, its subsequent submission to the relevant third parties for the provision of certification, and the final upload to the relevant certificate portal for provision to the customer of said MRB and certification. QC may also provide product release inspection, support the raising and processing of relevant NCR's, and occasional test witnessing.

Job Summary:
QC is responsible for specific first article inspection, review of material certification, and the inspection of customer supplied product as part of the overall service provision of the aftermarket activity. RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:
- Carry out and recording of first article inspections as required
- Review material certification as required for new/replacement components
- Carry out incoming goods inspection on customer owned equipment in line with product requirements as part of the service provision for aftermarket
- Disassembly of customer owned parts prior to inspection as required
- Carry out QC inspection post disassembly of customer owned product against product requirements as part of the aftermarket service provision.
- Carry out visual examination of coated parts.
- Review supplier documentation packs as part of the inspection activities as and when required.
- Inspection of newly manufactured components as and when required
- Generate and respond to NCR's as and when required.
- Support Internal audit activity within the facility
- Final product release inspection
- NDE Inspection of customer owned parts, newly manufactured items as and when required.
- Visit customer premises to perform inspection or witness pressure or functional testing on customer owned NOV products as required.
- Updating and upload of MRB's to certification portal as required to support certification and customers
- Proactively take part in the continuous improvement activity within the facility
- Liaise with third parties regarding submission of NOV information and receipt of third party certification related to product and service provision
- Maintain clean, safe and organized work area
- Comply with NOV HSE policy and safety procedures at all times.
- Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills, Training, special certificate)
Essential:
- High School level education
- Know and be able to use prevision measuring instruments.
- Experience of precision dimensional inspection and use of equipment for this task
- Be able to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
- Have a mechanical aptitude
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Must be able to work and manage workload independently
- Computer literacy (good command of MS Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to read & understand technical standards in English
Desirable:
- Internal Auditor to ISO9001:2015
- NDE Technician Level II (MPI/LPI)
- CSWIP Coating Inspector
- Awareness of API 6A requirements
- Knowledge of API 6A
- Knowledge of NDE Techniques & their application
- Time served machinist
