Our goal is to be the best energy transition utility, and we have an ambition to reach net zero emissions by 2045. This role requires someone who can translate complex data into clear, actionable guidance while maintaining strong control disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver strategic financial insights, commercial analysis and recommendations to support decision‑making across the Consumer Retail energy business.
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, profitability and gross margin analysis, including customer and segment performance.
  • Prepare accurate, timely financial reporting, manage variance analysis and present insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Support month‑end close, strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive improvements across financial processes, systems, modelling and reporting frameworks.
  • Partner with commercial, product and operational teams to evaluate business cases, assess risks and influence strategic initiatives.

Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in Finance Business Partnering, ideally within the retail energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of gross margin, customer profitability, and integrated financial analysis (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Highly developed analytical and modelling skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting insights to senior leaders.
  • Advanced Excel capability and experience with forecasting/planning tools.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, improvement-focused mindset.
