Your role and responsibilities

Defines and implementing the organizational structure, strategy, and policies required to support business objectives in alignment with corporate goals. Responsible for delivering capabilities, solutions, and enhancements while developing technology roadmaps that align organizational plans with emerging technologies. Oversee frameworks, processes, and lifecycle management of assets, sets global KPIs, monitors performance, and ensures reporting and audits are conducted regularly. Promotes continuous development, assesses technology performance, and secures value creation by focusing on customer-centric solutions. Leads cross-functional global teams, manage vendors, and coordinates stakeholders to execute organization-wide processes, manage risk, and promote analytics-driven decision-making. Synchronizes priorities, strategies, and resource distribution with heads of departments, sets principles for stakeholder engagement, and builds collaborative, trust-oriented relationships to facilitate co-innovation and mutual growth. Promotes a clear understanding of roles, accountability, and authority, while exemplifying the importance of strong relationship development, escalation handling, and consistent performance in reaching strategic objectives.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Direct the full spectrum of demand coordination and project delivery for worldwide infrastructure developments, ensuring that all tasks are executed on schedule and within financial constraints while offering clarity and reliability to stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted business partner and advisor, shaping scalable infrastructure solutions by aligning complex business requirements with central IT capabilities and ABB's global IS services.
• Engage with strategic partners, service line heads, and internal contributors to enhance collaborations, maintain quality and innovation, promote the utilization of enterprise capabilities, and endorse standardized IS services over customized solutions.
• Guide the portfolio governance and international teams to ensure strategic alignment, prioritize tasks, and optimize resources, while enhancing collaboration, ongoing improvement, and effectiveness across different regions.

Qualifications for the role:

• Over 15 years of experience in IS with a Computer Science background. Oversee and optimize end-to-end demand for transactional infrastructure build projects across regions and business units, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery aligned with organizational priorities.
• Enhance the "Shop to Deliver" experience by ensuring clear communication, predictable outcomes, and stakeholder satisfaction while supporting the awareness and reuse of standardized IS services.
• Engage collaboratively with key suppliers and Service Line Owners to cultivate strategic partnerships that improve quality, promote innovation, and ensure service standards are met.
• Act as a trusted advisor for non-standard IS demands, partnering with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, enterprise-aligned infrastructure solutions.
• Promote the reapplication of organizational capabilities, improve clarity, and stimulate innovation to create long-lasting solutions that align with IS strategic aims.
• Ensure portfolio alignment with business strategy through effective planning, governance, prioritization, and resource allocation frameworks.
• Inspire and guide a diverse international team, enhancing collaboration, continuous growth, and notable accomplishments across numerous locations and skill sets.
