This position supports the Army Prepositioned Stocks - 4 Program located in Camp Carroll, Korea. The Heavy Track QC Inspector will comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations, local safety policies, and KBR's Zero Harm program.
Job Summary
Heavy Track QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting and validating in one or more of the following commodities; M88A1/A2, M109A6, M992A5, M60A2 ABLV, and M1A2SEPv2; inspects quality in the conduct of work associated with Engineering Changes, MWOs, MAMs and SOUMs; works closely with management, leads, and mechanics in improving the quality process of maintenance operations; ensures proper use of automated maintenance systems and the accurate completion of documentation related to maintenance; proactively discovers, analyzes, resolves discrepancies, weak points and bottlenecks within the operation by utilizing scheduled and unscheduled inspections, quality metrics, six sigma methodology and ISO 9001:2015 QMS; ensures required plans, procedures, work instructions and quality records are developed, maintained and followed by operational personnel; performs other duties as assigned.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable of Corrective Action System and that all corrective actions are brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Performs initial, random, and final inspections on equipment submitted for repair or services.
- Performs ECOD as requested. When tasked, provides support for Key Leader Engagements (KLE), equipment issues, and receiving for designated unit draws, contingency operation draw exercises for training and real-world missions.
- Has a basic knowledge of the GCSS-Army, and needs to have a good understanding of how to use AESIP to be able to get the proper information required for the job.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport.
- Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License.
- Ability to provide documentation to qualify as US EXPAT Invited Contractor Status and SOFA Visa IAW USFK 700-19 Regulation.
- High School/GED plus seven years of directly related work experience in the maintenance and repair of the U.S. Army Tactical Wheel Vehicles
- Certification from a vocational school or other recognized source such as a military service-related Advanced Individual Training with a focus on heavy track vehicle maintenance is preferred.
- In lieu of formal course work, a combination of college credits, on-the-job training, other formalized training, or experience may be considered.
- Ability to work from technical manuals, work instructions, and work orders.
- Favorable adjudication of an NACI background check.
- Must be able to work in a non-temperature controlled environment, heat and humidity.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds to waist level and 35 pounds to shoulder height.
- Required to pass initial and periodic medical screening.
