We are currently seeking a Deputy Manager Procurement to join our team bases at MMY Dahej Operating Centre, Gujarat, India.

Key Interactions:
  • Collaborated cross-functionally with Project Engineers, Managers, and critical internal departments (e.g., Store, Welding, Maintenance, Planning) to align procurement strategies with operational needs.
  • Managed a diverse stakeholder network, serving as the primary liaison between internal Project/Operations teams and external Vendors/Suppliers.
  • Fostered strong partnerships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution

  • Responsible for the successful planning, execution, and coordination of all sourcing requirements for assigned items.
  • Ensure meticulous and compliant documentation for all procurement transactions to successfully pass internal and external audits without non-conformity

About the Job:
  • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and selecting high-performing suppliers based on rigorous criteria, including cost, quality, reliability, and compliance.
  • Conduct in-depth cost analyses and comparisons to identify the most cost-efficient materials and suppliers while strictly upholding quality and compliance standards.
  • Skillfully negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, encompassing price, payment terms, and delivery schedules, to secure favorable agreements.
  • Cultivated and maintained robust, long-term supplier relationships, conducting continuous performance evaluations and regular reviews to ensure high quality and adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Minimized supply chain risk through proactive risk mitigation strategies, detailed cost analysis, budget management, and the identification of significant cost savings opportunities.
  • Meticulously track all purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completion from issuance through final fulfillment.
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain lifecycle, guaranteeing on-time delivery and operational continuity.
  • Continuously evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues or concerns related to quality, timeliness, or other relevant factors.
  • Perform cost analyses, manage budgets, identify savings, and implement risk mitigation for supply chain disruptions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships; monitor vendor performance and conduct reviews.
  • Ensure organizational compliance by collaborating closely with Legal, Finance, and other internal departments to align procurement strategies with corporate policies and efficient operations.
  • Maintain expertise in complex regulatory environments, including Indian EXIM (Import/Export) processes, to facilitate international trade.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of key Audit processes (e.g., ISO, ASME, ISMS), ensuring all procurement documentation and procedures meet strict internal and external audit standards

About You

Wed love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
  • Minimum 06 to 08 years of work experience in Procurement in case of Bachelors Degree.
  • Minimum 10 to 12 years of work experience in Procurement in case of Diploma.
  • Bachelors Degree/Diploma in any Engineering fields.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Familiarity with pertinent procurement regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influential skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Fluency in professional English
  • Familiar with CODES and Standards
