This Position reports to:
O2C Center of Excellence Lead Credit Man

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive accounts receivable and/or credit management activities for your assigned organization. Each day, you will ensure complete, accurate, and timely execution of transactions. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures, and external regulatory requirements.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Working together with Cluster Credit Managers, Global Credit Risk Management, other O2C teams and business divisions to achieve a common goal
• Efficient and effective management of a team of Credit Specialists
• A proper credit risk mitigation
• Quick and professional response to changes in the financial situation of ABB customers
• An appropriate satisfaction of Business needs
• High precision of credit recommendations prepared for Business
• Maintaining a high level of assertiveness and having strong abilities for business negotiations and solving issues
• Monitoring compliance to Global Credit Policy

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in credit analysis and credit control, drawing on your experience within global, complex business environments.
• You have 5-7 years of experience in credit analysis or credit control, including 3-4 years of leading teams.
• You possess advanced knowledge of financial reporting, demonstrating confidence in analyzing P&L statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow statements, and credit bureau reports.
• You are highly adept in SAP S/4HANA or eager to deepen your knowledge of it.
• You are passionate about analytical problem‑solving, effective communication, and building strong cross‑functional relationships.
• You hold a Master's degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Financial Audit, or a closely related field.
• You are at ease communicating in English, both written and spoken.
• You hold-or are motivated to pursue-a professional credit risk certification, which will be considered an advantage.
