We are currently seeking a Mechanical PCC Lead, reporting directly to Precommissioning and Commissioning Manager to join our team based in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.

About the opportunity we offer:
Ensuring the appropriate implementation and execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project handover for all Gas Turbine and Compressor packages in the assigned area. The Lead provides expert-level support in investigation, problem analysis, and troubleshooting of high-pressure rotating machinery to achieve operational readiness.

Ensuring the appropriate implementation and execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project handover for all Gas Turbine and Compressor packages in the assigned area. The Lead provides expert-level support in investigation, problem analysis, and troubleshooting of high-pressure rotating machinery to achieve operational readiness.
Main Accountabilities
- Commissioning Execution: Execute and ensure all pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for Gas Turbines (BHGE) and Compressor packages (Elliott/Ebara) are performed to high-quality standards.
- Strategy & Planning: Defines the CSU sequences for machinery in coordination with Construction and Planning Teams to meet project milestones.
- Documentation Management: Oversees the preparation and signing of critical technical documentation, including QCFs (Quality Control Forms), Test Sheets, Failure Reports, and Punch List closures.
- Technical Oversight: Coordinates PC&C (Pre-commissioning and Commissioning) engineers in the preparation of Operating and Maintenance Manuals and all deliverables included in the Contractual Scope of Work.
- Sub-system Acceptance: Conducts walkdowns and liaises with Client/PMC operations personnel to approve functional performance and sub-system acceptance.
- Vendor Coordination: Organizes and supervises activities of OEM vendors (GE, Elliott/Ebara) and subcontractors to ensure adherence to the project schedule and safety regulations.

- Qualification: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.
- Experience: 10+ years in the energy sector, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in LNG mega-projects.
- OEM Certification: Certification or specialized training from original equipment manufacturers (GE, Elliott/Ebara) is highly appreciated.
- Languages: Good proficiency in both English and Spanish.
- Leadership: Proven management and leadership skills in multi-national and multi-cultural environments.
