OperationsWe're looking for a dynamic Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software products, reporting directly to the Product R&D PMO. This position will be in Austin, Texas.
In this role, you will ensure projects are executed with excellence-managing scope, risks, schedules, budgets, and communication to keep teams aligned and delivery on track. Your leadership will be pivotal in aligning technical decisions with strategic objectives and fostering collaboration across global cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, proven project management experience, familiar with Agile methodologies for Software Projects, and a passion for leading software teams to deliver impactful results.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver new software product development projects on time and within budget.
- Define and manage project scope, timelines, resources, and costs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitate technical trade-offs and decision-making processes to meet project goals.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
- Provide clear and consistent communication to stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and changes.
- Conduct and lead project meetings to maintain alignment and momentum across teams.
- Remove obstacles and drive continuous progress throughout the development cycle.
- Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies for software projects.
- Work with R&D and product planning teams on both project and product life cycle management.
- Develop positive teamwork and facilitate team collaboration across multiple functions and global sites.
WHO YOU ARE:

- Experienced engineering professional with solid software development knowledge and hands-on project management expertise.
- Fluent in Agile methodologies and skilled at guiding teams to deliver high‑quality, impactful software products.
- Adaptable communicator and problem-solver who connects effectively with diverse audiences and leads teams with confidence and clarity.
FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree
- Proven success in managing technical software projects, meeting deadlines, and controlling budgets.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing conditions.
- Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating across functions.
- Knowledge of Agile product lifecycle management systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
- At least 2 years of hands-on software product development experience.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project and Azure DevOps.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
- Experience with integrated hardware/software/firmware product development is a plus. Being able to apply hybrid project management methodologies (Waterfall + Agile) for hardware projects and Agile/Scrum for software projects
- Background in process improvement and adoption of structured development methodologies.
