Your responsibilities

As Commissioning Team Lead, you will prepare, coordinate, and execute commissioning activities for all technical systems on board our vessels. You'll be the on-site lead for subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring everything is tested, validated, and delivered safely.

You will:

• Act as Royal IHC's technical representative at international shipyards.
• Analyse technical specifications, ITPs, drawings, manuals and test protocols.
• Develop detailed commissioning plans together with the project planner.
• Supervise and guide commissioning activities executed by subcontractors and suppliers.
• Perform commissioning activities according to customer requirements, specifications, quality standards, and planning.

Your profile

• Degree in shipbuilding, marine engineering, mechanical engineering (or related discipline).
• Experience with offshore and/or dredging vessels is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Willing and able to travel internationally for longer periods.
