This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

With P2P knowledge, execute material purchase requests, according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures under supervision.

The work model for the role is: Buyer & reporting to Team Lead

This role is contributing to the Motion Business High Power division in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.
• Supplier registration and qualification in SAP Ariba. Creation and supplier modification.
• Carrying out SES process & managing Project orders proactively with trackers by associating with Project managers
• Analyzing and evaluating freight RFQ's to award for best features.
• RFQ management, supports in negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews pricelists, terms and conditions and feedback recommendations for appropriate actions.
• Adapts corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommends frame agreements to management, ensures approved contractual terms in execution.
• Understanding the customer requirement and floating RFQ's to suppliers to receive quotes.
• Oversees supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time), and recommends solutions / resolves performance issues within the scope.

Qualifications for the role:

• Fluency in English with 3-6 years experience.
• SAP Knowledge is must. Experience on SAP Ariba and Service Now would be an added advantage
• Salesforce application exp added value
• Position is open for Drive Products - Shift timings : 6 AM to 3 PM
