This Position reports to:
Production Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and drives adoption of digital manufacturing solutions-including MES, IIoT, automation, analytics, and workflow tools-across Motion factories. The role strengthens data‑driven operations, standard processes, and Industry 4.0 capabilities to support operational excellence and continuous improvement.

This role is contributing to the Motion business for IEC Low Voltage Division based in Bangalore or Faridabad, India:
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Engage cross‑functional teams to understand operational challenges and digital solution needs. Translate improvement opportunities into clear functional specifications.
• Evaluate current and future‑state processes for production execution, WIP, quality, maintenance, and traceability.
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements using standardized digital manufacturing practices. Support MES/SAP solution design and alignment with production environments.
• Ensure consistency between user needs and system capabilities through design, build, and rollout. Contribute to configuration, validation, testing, and documentation.
• Define data structures for KPIs, OEE, dashboards, and workflows. Support integration of machines, sensors, and edge devices into unified data models.
• Drive training, communication, and knowledge transfer across plants. Promote adoption of digital tools through onboarding and continuous feedback loops.
• Support roadmap execution, backlog refinement, UAT, and implementation readiness. Provide BA inputs aligned with Motion IS governance and compliance.
Qualifications for the role
• Full time Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Strong understanding of factory workflows, production execution, quality processes, and digital technologies.
• 5-10 years' experience in manufacturing operations, business analysis, MES/MOM, SAP, or digital transformation.
• Experience with MES/SAP DM and related systems. Knowledge of ERP integrations, IIoT, and manufacturing data structures.
• Proficiency in process mapping, functional specifications, UAT, and analytics tools. Strong communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with ability to simplify complex processes.

• Increased system adoption and reduced manual processes.
• Improved data‑driven decision‑making through workflows and analytics.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder satisfaction across functions.
