DG BOSS: Bike Mechanic (FN) (Open)
- Assembles and repairs bicycles, installs replacement parts and accessories and maintains MWR owned bicycles for rent.
- Maintains a Bicycle Repair Log of assemblage, repairs and maintenance on bicycles received and forwarded or returned to Check-it Out Equipment Rentals.
- Install a variety of accessories and other related parts to provide proper standards of appearance and safety.
- Ensure Bicycles are assembled or repaired within 72 hours of receipt.
- Ensures Bicycle Repair log maintained and available for inspection upon Government's request.
- Ensures Repair shop is kept clean and organized.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Must have a wide range of knowledge in the repair and maintenance of bicycles.
- Must be able to work with less supervision and follow written and oral orders.
- Ability to determine the operating conditions of bicycle to safety requirements to avoid injury to
- patrons.
- Must speak, read, and understand the English Language.
- I must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
Preferred Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING
- Must have successfully completed the required training:
- Adult First Aid/CPR/AED Training from American Red Cross.
- Customer Service Training: Creating Stellar Customer Relations
EDUCATION:
- Must have at least High school diploma, Technical or Vocational course graduate is required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Must have two (2) years' experience working in a repair shop.
