JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in recording daily journal entries and expense transactions.
• Support processing of vendor payments and verification of supporting documents.
• Assist with bank reconciliations for corporate accounts.
• Monitor cash inflows and outflows and support preparation of daily cash position reports.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities.
• Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
• Perform basic variance analysis between budgeted and actual expenditures.
• Prepare financial summaries and reports under supervision.
• Use Microsoft Excel to support financial analysis, reporting, and dashboards.

Education/Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent in a related field.
• COOP / Internship requirement as part of academic curriculum.

Experience Required:

• No prior professional experience required.
• Basic academic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; exposure to ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) is an advantage.
