In which organisation will you be working as a Methods Engineer?

We are looking for a Methods Engineer for our client, a company specialised in the design and manufacturing of equipment for the energy and defense sectors, to strengthen the Operations Department.

What will your roles and responsibilities be?

Reporting to the Operations Department, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Defining manufacturing processes and handling methods for parts.
  • Building the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) and preparing manufacturing documentation (routings, procedures).
  • Designing tooling, producing methods CAD/technical drawings, and preparing the CE documentation.
  • Defining testing and inspection methods (dimensional and NDT).
  • Ensuring production follow-up, coordinating with scheduling, and managing technical follow-up of subcontracted items.
  • Working closely with the Engineering and Production departments to optimise product design and integrate workshop needs.
  • Training operators and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What profile and skills are required for this Methods Engineer position?

Education & Experience:

• Master's degree / Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering with over 5 years of experience in boiler-making, machining, or handling of large-scale components.
• Or a Bac+2/Associate Degree (BTS/DUT) in Mechanical Engineering with more than 10 years of experience in these fields.

Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD using Creo.
• Proficiency in the Windchill PLM system.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and manufacturing processes.
• Operational level of English.

• La Seyne-sur-Mer (France)
