"Project Planning Engineer (M/F)" What will your missions and responsibilities be?
As a Project Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning aspects of major Brownfield projects. Your missions will include:
- Planning and scheduling for multiple projects, including topside and infill developments
- Managing interfaces between contractors and ensuring consistent planning across different project packages
- Leading safety and ethical practices in planning activities and promoting a strong HSE culture
- Updating schedules, performing simulations of project impacts, proposing corrective actions, and ensuring alignment with budget and contractual requirements
- Collaborating closely with project managers, package leaders, cost controllers, contract engineers, and HR for planner recruitment
- Participating in audits, lessons learned processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Reporting regularly on project progress and planning performance indicators
- Operating within a matrix organization, coordinating with teams across multiple locations internationally
What profile and skills are required for this "Project Planning Engineer (M/F)" role?
- Education & Experience: Engineer or equivalent, with at least 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas Engineering & Construction
- Technical skills: Strong knowledge of planning & scheduling software (Primavera P6v7, MS Project 2013), Vision environment, and usual office tools (Pack Office 2013)
- Managerial & interpersonal skills: Excellent organization, communication, negotiation, and team spirit. Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment
- Languages: Fluent in English (mandatory), French and/or Portuguese (optional)
- Other competencies: Autonomy, proactivity, ability to formalize procedures, reporting skills, end-user service mindset, and adaptability for worldwide expatriation
