To strengthen our teams and support our continued growth, we are currently looking for a Reservoir Engineer (M/F) in Rio de Janeiro.

Reservoir Engineer (M/F) - Key Responsibilities

Activities
- Validate collected reservoir data (mainly dynamic data), and integration into reservoir databases.
- Perform dynamic data interpretation and synthesis to update field's subsurface understanding.
- Evaluate the main subsurface uncertainties, and account for their impact in reserves and production profiles evaluations.
- Identify required model revisions and updates. Contribute to reservoir model new-built and modifications (dynamic part). Ensure adequacy of reservoir models and other evaluation tools for production forecasting, reserves evaluations and uncertainties analysis.
- Follow-up geosciences and reservoir studies and projects carried out at head-quarter. Contribute necessary data exchanges with HQ.
- Develop own skills in Reservoir Engineering and Simulation by keeping close contact with specialist staff in the affiliate and HQ entities.
- Ensure integration with other geosciences disciplines and senior geosciences integrators.
- Apply Company dedicated rules for ensuring geosciences patrimonial data protection

Accountabilities
- Provide adequate tools and methodology to the Assets for influencing the operator on field management and development.
- Perform the necessary reservoir engineering interpretation and synthesis studies to improve subsurface understanding and model predictability.
- Participate in building and updating the affiliate's subsurface databases.

Profile Required

-Background: Master in Reservoir/Petroleum Engineering
- Knowledge in pre-salt reservoirs and context.
- Professional Exposure: 3-8 years of experience [preferably with an operator]
- Technical Skills: Reservoir simulation software (Eclipse/IX). Reservoir interpretation software (PETEX suite, Kappa Saphir, OFM...), and subsurface databases.
