Which structure will you join as Industrial and Environmental Risk Pipeline Engineer?

We are looking for a Senior Industrial and Environmental Risk Pipeline Engineer for one of our clients in the energy sector, who will be based in Île-de-France.

Industrial and Environmental Risk Pipeline Engineer: What will be your missions and responsibilities?
  • Prepare regulatory dossiers (Porter-à-Connaissance, etc.).
  • Carry out the five-year update of pipeline hazard studies, including: processing input data, correspondence and local contacts, and taking into account DREAL's comments on previous hazard studies.
  • Conduct hazard studies for pipelines.
  • Prepare Authorization to Build and Operate (DACE) dossiers.
  • Write terms of reference and consult external partners for regulatory studies.
  • Perform risk analyses and modeling.
  • Provide regulatory support to projects and sites.
  • Support and present regulatory dossiers to the administration (candidates must have strong oral French communication skills).
  • Conduct meetings in English with Air Liquide's global engineering teams (minimum B2 professional English level required).

Which profile and skills are required for this Industrial and Environmental Risk Pipeline Engineer role?
  • Advanced knowledge of French regulations applicable to classified installations and transport pipelines, including the Environmental Code.
  • Proven ability to prepare and analyze regulatory dossiers such as Hazard Studies (EDD), Porter-à-Connaissance, and Authorization to Build and Operate (DACE) dossiers.
  • Strong expertise in industrial risk analysis applied to pipelines transporting hazardous fluids.
  • Ability to define, analyze, and model complex accident scenarios.
  • Good knowledge of the multifluid decree and its operational application.
  • Mastery of the GESIP methodological guides related to transport pipelines.
  • Ability to use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for territorial and regulatory analysis.
  • Excellent technical writing and synthesis skills for regulatory documents.
  • Strong oral communication skills in French, particularly in exchanges with the administration.
  • Ability to work in a team and coordinate exchanges with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in professional English (oral and written, minimum B2 level).
